IZOLTECH RECUPERATION

What is recuperation ?

Izoltech has specialized in recuperation since 2015. Each year we perform dozens of installations of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. We offer only proven recuperators and optimally selected installation systems. With customers in mind, we provide a comprehensive service including consulting, design, and delivery of recuperation systems - such a service guarantees mutual satisfaction and mutual benefits.
What is recuperation:
Recuperation is otherwise known as mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. Traditional gravity ventilation is based on the draught (air intake) produced by chimneys, but this has many disadvantages, including, among others, cooling the house and not removing moisture from the rooms. Recuperation, being mechanical ventilation, is based on air movement produced by a machine, a device called a recuperator.</ br> The recuperator makes it possible to control the movement of air supplied and removed from the rooms and to recover heat, from air that is already heated, but dirty (moist and saturated with carbon dioxide).</ br> In other words, recuperation is a system for replacing stale, dirty air in your home with clean, fresh air, while recovering some of the heat already stored.

HOW DOES RECUPERATION WORK?

Now we will try to explain to you in the simplest possible way the principle of recuperation.

You install a recuperator in your home. The recuperator is the heart, the recuperation unit with the exchanger used for heat recovery. The recuperator pulls air in two directions simultaneously. The first stream of air is cold and clean air (hopefully, but for the recuperator this is not a problem) drawn in from outside the building.

The second stream is warm, but dirty, stale, humid air, drawn from indoors through anemostats - round grilles on the ceiling and walls. These two streams of air meeting each other in the heat exchanger, or recuperator, but importantly, they do not mix with each other, as each flows through a separate channel in the recuperator! Warm and dirty air passes through the heat exchanger and leaves its heat in it, while cold and clean incoming air from outside takes this heat back. From the recuperator run ventilation ducts of, most often, varying diameters, through which fresh air is distributed throughout the house, while dirty air is drawn outside.

Recuperation not only allows you to heat the fresh air coming into the house, but also cleans that air of pollutants and allergens - a significant advantage over normally opening windows. You also don't have to worry about neighbors who burn fuel of questionable quality and nature in their stoves, as the recuperation filters will only let clean air into your home.
